NETWORK MARKETING with
an Ethical Twist
MLM &
Network Marketing are terms that have been
used interchangably. In a way MLM has
given Network Marketing a bad name, when
networking is one of the oldest and most
positive way business people have been able
to grow their business on any level.
However,
we are talking about the business model that
ONE Group is developed under and that is MLM
or Multi-Level Marketing. Network
Marketing is used as a tool to build the
business. The way we are paid as
distributors is through a compensation plan
which is set up as a Multi-Level payout.
Its worth
noting here that MLM will get you a definite
response from most people, and for everyone
who hates it for whatever reason, there will
also be someone who understands the concept
and recognizes it for the powerful
opportunity that it is. They probably
also know someone who has made a substantial
residual income through a MLM opportunity.
But why the negativity?
The reasons MLM have such a
bad rap are criminal. The way people
are taught to build their business is
outdated and ineffective. People turn off
immediately and for good cause. Here
they are:
- failing to find out if there is an
interest or a need for your opportunity
- badgering people as if they don't
understand your golden opportunity
- every communication with family and
friends has the intent of selling them
on your opportunity
- using misleading information to get
people to functions solely for the
purpose of pitching your opportunity
Network Marketing is not meant to be this
way. It is a business of people
helping people - networking.
By building your business the right way your
circle of influence actually grows and
people start asking you about your business.
I have been building a network marketing
business with ONE Group and have made many
new friends and business partners who are
like minded people, who share my passions
How do I do that?
The key is simple - take the focus off me
and my business and put it on the person I'm
talking to. What does that person
need. The long, lost art of listening
comes into play.
The fact I have superior certified
organic products and a business opportunity
that is real and ethical has changed my
life. But it's not going to be right
for everyone. Finding the people who
share my passion for organics and the
environment align me with the right people
for this business.
By listening you discover people who are
perfect for this business or it's products.
I know that I might be of service to this
person and the information is then received
with gratitude.
By approaching someone without a hidden
agenda, only to learn of them and how you
might help them is a rewarding process which
leaves you feeling fulfilled and feeling
good about yourself.
Once the needs of the other person have
been discovered and addressed then you have
a receptive audience to explore any of the
other flexible strategies that might help
this person further to realize a particular
goal, whether it is financial or health
related.
